WORKING TO GET YOU THE BEST RESULT

We provide qualified legal assistance in civil, criminal, economic and other branches of law. For the time of our work, we have helped our Clients resolve the most difficult issues, as evidenced by positive feedback.

We have won not-guilty verdicts in theft, DWI, assault, sexual assault, and aggravated assault cases. I have earned pretrial dismissals in several other types of cases including computer crimes, drug possession, aggravated robbery, and weapons cases.

    Some Major Legal Advices

    01.

    Search Warrants

Unless a search is authorized by your consent, incident to a lawful arrest, under some other recognized exception, it must be executed pursuant to a valid search warrant

    02.

    Citizen’s Arrest

Code 837  allows a private person to make a citizen’s arrest who commits a felony and a citizen has reasonable cause to believe the perpetrator committed it.

    03.

    Searching Personal Property

It is not always easy to understand where police officers’ authority ends and citizens’ constitutional rights begin.

    04.

    Police Encounters

An encounter occurs when a police officer approaches a citizen in public and asks questions but has little reason to believe that a crime has occurred

    05.

    Charged with Self Defense

Self-defense is an “affirmative defense.” This means that the person accused of the offense agrees that he or she committed the offense, but his or her actions were justified.

    06.

    Fight a Search Warrant

The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution protects citizens and their property from unreasonable search and seizure.

    07.

    Police Searching Your Car

Generally, a warrant is required to search your property.  The main rationale for the exceptions is that since cars are mobile, they will be gone before an officer can get a warrant to search from a judge.

    08.

    False Imprisonment & Avoiding Arrest

Penal Code 210.5 PC defines the crime referred to as taking a human shield. In simple terms, this means falsely imprisoning a hostage in order to avoid capture or arrest

An Aggressive, Proactive Approach to all Cases

Some criminal defense lawyers take a wait-and-see approach. They stall until the first court date, or until they receive the police reports, before investigating and working up your case.

By contrast, we believe there’s no time to waste. The most critical window for defense work may be the first few days following an arrest, or even prior to formal charges being filed. By getting to work immediately, often we can locate favorable defense evidence and witnesses, and get a “head start” towards defeating the charges.

Private Defense Investigation by Former Police

Make no mistake. Cops concern themselves mainly with aiding the prosecution and building up a criminal case against you. They should not be relied upon to gather favorable evidence that helps exonerate their suspect. To put it simply: they are not on your side.

Our private defense investigators are former career police officers. But now their job is to find evidence that will benefit you. We assign them

    • to re-interview and locate witnesses,
    • to canvass neighborhoods,
    • to obtain surveillance footage,
    • to do background checks on key prosecution witnesses, and
    • to locate evidence to corroborate our client’s version of the events.

    Knowing the Local Courts

Every county and every courthouse has its own way of doing things. The criminal court process in Los Angeles County, for example, differs significantly from the process in San Bernardino. But even within San Bernardino County, the procedures at the central courthouse vary considerably from Rancho Cucamonga or Victorville.

We assign each of our  criminal defense attorneys to a specific set of courthouses. By working day in and day out in the same places, we develop trusting relationships with judges, prosecutors, probation officers and court staff. Moreover, we know how things work in particular courtrooms and with particular prosecuting agencies. We have learned whom to talk to, who has discretion, and the most effective ways to get the job done.
